Mwangaza Children’s Choir will travel the U.S. in 2010 from January to June. The choir, which will consist of 22 children ranging from the ages of seven to 13 from the western region of Uganda, plan to perform at many churches and other venues throughout Texas, Tennessee, Alabama, Colorado and other surrounding states.
You are sure to leave a Mwangaza concert in awe of the children’s abilities and spirit for life. Adults and children alike will enjoy and feel inspired by the performance and worship opportunity.
The cost is low for churches, schools and venues wanting to host a choir performance. We ask for a $500 commitment fee, however that amount is flexible and we appreciate whatever a venue is able to contribute. It is asked that “love offering” can be taken on behalf of ARM and Mwangaza Children’s Choir at each venue. Most schools are not able to take monetary offerings, but we do encourage the sale of Mwangaza Children’s Choir CDs after the performance.
The choir members – children and adult leaders – will stay with host families during the tour. The host family accommodations are usually coordinated through the churches.
